The spout of this baleen giant ascends as high as 20 feet, following dives
that last 10 or 15 minutes. Huge, fast and valuable, the Fin Whale wandered
through most oceans. They are second only to the blue whale in size.
Whalers rarely attack it owing to its speed and thickness of the blubber.
